Limestone
Limestone – Classic beautiful Texas Limestone is used in a variety of applications! Popular in our area for landscape tiering, bed borders, walls, masonry uses, patio, and a variety of landscaping and construction purposes. We sell limestone chopped "bricks" used for a variety of landscaping applications such as bed borders, construction components and much more plus a Smooth Patio cut (flat like flagstone) which is excellent for stepping stones, patio, sidewalk and path construction.
Soil and Amendments
Garden Mix – Our custom mix is a great high quality mixed soil for use in any vegetable garden or flowerbeds. It is a mixture of chocolate loam, washed sand and compost. It is rich in nutrients and great for plants that require high fertility and good drainage.
Cotton Bur Compost - The best of all natural compost! A natural fertilizer that does not tie up nitrogen in soil and is unsurpassed at breaking up tight clay soils. It improves moisture retention and fertility in sands, holds as much moisture as peat, but unlike peat, wets and re-wets easily and lasts up to two full growing seasons. Cotton Bur Compost is free from weeds, insects and pathogens. Cotton is a heavy feeder and depletes the soil of nutrients as it grows. The nutrients wind up in the fleshy seed pod, ‘boll’ or ‘burr’ of the cotton plant. In most of the U.S. the burr remains on the plant and is plowed back into the soil after harvest, but on the Texas High Plains the burr winds up in what’s called ‘gin trash’, a by-product of cotton production.
Straight Cotton Bur
- the fleshy seed pod, ‘boll’ or ‘burr’ of the cotton plant and useful for augmenting other earth products to provide nutrients and airification.
Chocolate Loam

This is loam topsoil recovered from area fields. It is screened to remove most of the sticks, roots, rocks, and clay lumps. This is often used as base layer before installing turf grass as it holds water and nutrients better than sand hence creating a healthier root zone.
Lawn Leveler
- This product is a blend of sandy loam and cotton burr compost. It is designed for leveling lawns, filing in holes from tree and stump removal or as a base for beds and gardens.
Lawn Dressing - This product is a blend of chocolate loam and cotton burr compost. It is designed for leveling lawns, and as a nutrient amendment.
Yard Mix -
A custom high quality mixed amendment soil, rich in nutrients and perfect for planting trees and shrubs.
Mulch
Hardwood Mulch

A medium textured mulch providing the rich fragrance of oak and a beautiful darker natural color. Adapts well to most mulching applications and is native to Central and Coastal Texas and is the most popular mulch by professional landscapers in our area!
Black Hardwood Mulch
- A medium textured mulch providing the rich fragrance of oak and a beautiful black color. Similar to our regular hardwood mulch but uses a natural black potash for a dark black color. Adapts well to most mulching applications and is native to Central and Coastal Texas.
Pine Bark Mulch
– A Versatile and attractive mulch for bedding around trees and shrubs, on flowerbeds, walkways and jogging trails. Great soil mix and ground cover that serves as a true soil conditioner. The most economical ground cover for natural areas.
Cedar Mulch
- Cedar makes a popular mulch that smells good, helps to repel some insects, and is very slow to decay. Cedar grows in the alkaline hills north of Central Texas.

Masonry Sand – Masonry Sand has 100 percent passed through a #8 Sieve. It is very clean sand excellent for use between pavers, as a base material, in play grounds, landscaping and in masonry work.
Sandy Loam – A general purpose sandy soil mix used as a base or fill that drains well.
Road Base

This rock is used for road, sidewalk, driveway, or a construction base. Additional uses include filling in holes, in driveways, around culverts and many other general construction or fill applications. We offer our road base in 3 varieties 1) Contractors Grade - 1 1/2" - 2" & economically priced 2) Beige Base - 3/4" with dust making for very tight compaction 3) White 3/4" Dust - Highly compactable and settles in very hard and firm.
River Rock
– (Several types available) Often used in landscaping, water features, decorative waterways, septic systems, erosion control, spillways from gutter systems and many other general landscaping applications.
Pea Gravel – (Sold in 3 sizes!) A beautiful smooth round gravel of consistent size used for play areas, water features, groundcover, pathways, patios and drainage. Often used as an attractive surface application for concrete sidewalks, patios and driveways.
Decomposed Granite Chip – A high rate of compaction coupled with an ability to drain makes our Decomposed Granite the ideal product for many uses! D ecomposed Granite is often used to make beautiful pathways, patio and play areas, a mineral supplement for potting mixes, and more. It packs in well hence it is naturally resistant to washing away and weeds. Additionally, since it is paramagnetic it helps nearby plants grow strong and healthy. Many times it is used as a foundation fill in pathways, patios and as a base for rock and paver stones. It is a very versatile product used additionally in Xeri-Scape, cactus gardens and various other landscaping applications!
1 ½" Rock – General purpose rock commonly used in variety of landscaping applications such as walkways, drainage, edging, erosion control, and drip and spillways splash guard from gutter systems.
Patio Slate Stones & Mexican Slate Rock - Unique flat stones available in an assortment of colors for walks, patios or displaying special features in the yard.
Landscaping Glass/Rock - Very unique for a variety of landscaping uses, offered in a variety of shapes and sizes and sold by the pound .
